Tony began his teaching career at the Perdido Bay Golf Club in Perdido Florida in 2000. From 2001 through 2008 Tony was with the Hank Johnson School of Golf in Destin, Florida at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. In 2009 Tony left Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort to begin teaching at Santa Rosa Golf and Beach Club in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. His students include players on the PGA Tour, Champions Tour, and top junior players. Tony has worked with Tom Kite. For the past six years Tony has taught Bobby Wyatt of Mobile, Alabama. Bobby was ranked as high as number 1 in the AJGA Polo Rankings and has continued his college golf career at The University of Alabama where he is currently the 6th ranked college player in the Country. Tony also currently works with multiple PGA Tour winner Nolan Henke. Tony has also worked with Milton native Boo Weekly. Student Bobby Wyatt recently carded a record setting 57 which broke all time scoring records and received national attention. Tony won the prestigious Edwin Watts Invitational in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2011.

Tony follows his steadfast rule that no student leaves with more one thing to work on afterwards. He strives to make his lessons simple so that his students can play better faster. Tony has been published numerous times in Florida Golf Magazine and is featured in Golf Magazine online. Tony is a frequent guest of Making The Turn and Fairways of Life on the PGA Tour Channel XM146/Sirius 209, and the host of The Dewsweepers Golf Instruction Show now in its 6th year. The Dewsweepers Show is heard nationally on the PGA Tour Network on XM and Sirius Radio as well as a network of terrestrial radio stations throughout the country which reaches over 1 million golfers every time the show is aired.Tony considers his biggest teaching influences to be Hank Johnson, Tom Ness, Mark Wood, Tom Patri and Wayne Flint. Tony has also recently been nominated for the Golf Magazines “Top 100 Teachers of 2010.”
